Hello! I'm Ryan Scott Tandy, a seasoned design leader with over 20 years of experience based in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. With a career dedicated to shaping consumer products that foster connection and drive positive change, I'm currently offering my expertise in design and innovation consultancy.
In my most recent role, I had the privilege of leading the Instacart Design Team and later spearheading innovation efforts for Connected Stores. One of our notable achievements was the development of the IF Award-winning Caper Cart, which reimagined the in-store grocery shopping experience. People and collaboration are at the core of my approach, and I thrive on solving complex challenges with creativity and strategic thinking.
Before my time at Instacart, I managed product design on the Sharing team at Instagram, responsible for the creation of globally recognized experiences like Stories, Live, Direct Messaging and the Instagram Camera. Prior to that, I led the Nike Plus design team at R/GA New York and held design positions at both Apple and Adobe.
